Municipal Corporation of Greater Mumbai (MCGM) has been at the forefront of adoption of eGovernance initiatives in order to offer improved service delivery to the citizens. In our effort the take service delivery to the next level and offer anytime, anywhere service delivery; MCGM has taken an initiative to enable service delivery using mobile devices.
In order to leverage the existing mobile service delivery platform and roll out mobile based services promptly to the citizens MCGM has engaged CDAC's Mobile Seva team to develop a mobile application for us.
This mobile application , MCGM 24x7 (Beta Version) will help the citizens to lodge their complaints, payment of water bills , payment property tax ,renewal of licenses from anywhere at any time and accordingly make their life stress free and hassle free.
Now onwards, the citizens of Mumbai do not need to stand in queue to pay water bills, property tax, and renewal of licenses. Moreover, MCGM has created an elaborate plan to roll out new components for the mobile applications on a periodic basis to offer maximum services of MCGM over mobile devices and would request your suggestions for solidification of M-Governance initiative of MCGM.
